Migrants are not a burden — they are a blessing. Every day, migrants contribute to the UK’s economy, healthcare system, universities, and communities. We are carers, nurses, cleaners, builders, teachers, scientists, and students. Many of us pay taxes, volunteer locally, raise children here, and have made the UK our home.

Like many others, I arrived in the UK full of hope and belief in the promises of stability and fairness. As part of the “Boris wave” of EU nationals, I’ve worked hard, studied hard, and contributed to the society I now call home. Yet, every day, I live with the fear that a single political decision could undo everything — taking away my home, separating me from my family, and wiping out years of effort.
But this isn’t just my story — it’s the story of thousands of families across the UK. Your neighbours, your friends, perhaps even your own family members, are living with the same uncertainty. That’s why I’m speaking out — to make sure that we all have a future where stability and fairness are not just promises, but realities.
